Democratic underground take on medicare for all

I'm all for medicare for all if it's paid for with a 3% federal tax on all goods and services (no exceptions for food, housing, heating, water, etc.). That's simple and fair. It's not "for all" if "all" don't pay for it. If they want to hide the tax for political reasons make it a VAT so prices increase across the board.

Uncouple it from employers and employment.

Medicare for all, paid for by the few, isn't sustainable.
