Sick of it and I'm ready to go... PERMENANTLY

I'm sick of urban society and have a nagging urge to leave it and make for the wilds...I would go to either the Sierra navadas or cascade mountains.

Any opinions? I chose those locations because there is an abundance of water, wild life, and natural resources.
