At least two Tulsa area lakes have been infected with e. coli bacteria and have remained infected all summer. Experts predicted the bacteria would wash away with normal water flows but it has remained all summer.

Interestingly, one article blamed the outbreak on geese but we all know that geese have been around for millions of years and the lakes weren't contaminated before. Geese may be the delivery system today but where did the geese get it? Probably from eating near cows that were fed cows.
E. coli contamination is the product of profits-at-any-price capitalism and is a huge threat to our water systems.
If you're counting on local river or lake water for survival, you should think again. Our food supply has been contaminated beyond safety and our water supply is going next.
