Over the last half century, my EDCs have evolved- sometimes smoothly, sometimes by fits, starts, and even lurches. Time, tide, and technology wait for no man (or woman). Hopefully, as we age, we learn from our experiences, or even better, from the experiences of others. I used to teach political science and history, and when a student would object to something, and say that they couldn't learn something, I'd always respond, "It's not how much you know, but how well you use what you know..."
Gun handling, and the combative arts and sciences, whatever they are, demand work. It's a knowledge, experience, and wisdom that is ephemeral... Use it, or lose it...
So, here's what I'm currently using, and after my post, please feel free to chip in...
Sig-Sauer P226 TACOPS, 9mm w/threaded barrel, Gemtech Blackside w/LID and 13.5X1LH piston core, Tru-Glo TFX Pro tritium/fiber optic sights, Viridian X5L, five Mec-Gar 20rd AFC magazines, 101rds of Liberty 50gr Civil Defense, knife, flashlight, and small get-outta-Dodge pack... OWB/paddle ECR Blackhawk/TacLoc holster, and two Sig-Sauer dual mag pouches/OWB paddle carriers.
