Weird Problem with Extra Line Breaks

For several weeks now, when I submit a post, it shows up with extra line breaks between paragraphs. There will be one empty line between the paragraphs when I hit submit, and 2-3 empty lines when it displays in the forum.

I can edit the post and remove the breaks and it will display fine after that, but it's cumbersome to do that for every post.

It happens across platforms (Mac, iPhone, and Windows). I use Firefox on Mac and Windows, and Safari on the iPhone.

Any idea what's causing this?
