We adopted this little girl on Sat. 8 weeks old, shepherd mix (means they have zero idea apparently). She is great so far. Someone found her in a trashcan (jerks...), she was bottlefed by the shelter staff at the start and now we have her. Crate trained and about 80% housetrained.

Any ideas on dominant breed in her? She has some huge "meat-hooks" and a pronouced Dk Brn-Blk stripe along her back. I have looked up some breeds and the closest thing I can come up with is the Rhodesian Ridgeback. That as a puppy just doesn't have the raised ridge yet? Dunno....first time dog owner here.
