BOL: carry guns back and forth or leave some?

I really don't think of my situation as a BOL but it seems to be turning more into that. I work in one town where I have an apartment if I need to stay during the week. I live in the country about 100 miles from work. I keep the apartment stocked for short emergencies up to 4 to 6 weeks. My house in the country is home and it's fully stocked. But home seems like a BOL since, if I'm at work in a disaster, I have to get 100 miles home. I don't keep anything at the apartment that I'm not willing to walk away from if need be except guns.

If I'm going in either direction for more than a few days I tend to take all or most guns. The only problem is, if I have to fight my way home, all my guns are with me and if I am robbed I have nothing. If I have to walk I can't carry them.

So what's the solution? Some guns left permanently at each location? I hate the thought of losing any from either place or having to abandon them. What would you do about guns in town and guns in the country when you go back and forth a lot?

Let's block ads! (Why?)
