Is fox news trying to cover up the Mexican Cartel involvement in sex trafficking?

Watching this video clip on the Sherri Papini and when he brings up the Mexican Cartel she quickly cuts him off.

I never knew the Mexican Cartel was kidnapping Americans to make them I assume prostitutes. If this is actually true then why is this not more common knowledge?

Do you think Fox News was trying to cover this fact up and that is why she cut him off?
