I'm going to a ranch99 Asian store Friday, what's good to get? Produce, Chinese eggplant, baby bok choy, mushrooms, Thai basil, shelf stable tofu and fresh. I'd like some pickled veg but onmly know the yellow takuan radish. I get lop Chong Chinese sausage, from deli chau shu bows. Korean sweet red bean stuffed mochi. Look for better ramen. They have a free fish frying service, choose a fish and they clean it and throw in the deep fryer or steamer, only add salt. I've seen it but never really tried it. This time of year they carry Virginia country ham, I guess its similar to Chinese ham. Big bottle of sake, i cook with it. Im using some low sodium kikoman soy sauce but it tastes really thin, i think ill switch to regular.
Any suggestions?
