I don't think I want a Makarov anymore.

Used to, I'd pick up any MAK I could find for $200.

(still have 3-4 tucked away a couple places)

Even pretty recently (last 2 years) I could still come across one occasionally. (very occasionally)

Well, a guy I know asked me to sell his collection, he needs money fast (I actually advanced him $500 against them so he could make rent.)

He was wiling to take pawn shop prices, But I "bought him" some more time and talked him out of it.

-understood is I can peel off something for myself for the work. Price depending on increased return. Sorry, pointless backstory.

ANYWAY: one of the guns (between 1 and 2 dozen) is a Bulgarian Makarov, which has has a threaded .380 barrel replace the OEM.

Perhaps that's it, Not beig original.... But I automatically set the Mak aside for me, but then picked it up, and I just wonder...

Why?

I guess because everyone was always trying to get them off of me, cheap, reliable. Etc.

But I dont really have much use for it personally. It's not small for what it is, and it's underpowered for a primary, has me wondering why I did...

Might keep the Ruger Standard .22 pistol with the 4 mags... People are ALWAYS trying to get me to find them .22 pistols...

Might be bennificial to go through and see what other of my opinions have changed.

I don't think I want a Makarov anymore.
