Could you help me about my project ?

I am planning to build a kind of pump and most important part of it is a telescopic arm. The problem is I dont know how to build or have a telescopic arm in a way.

What I mean by a telescopic arm; An arm consist of two parts and these parts comes side by side/ nested or extends forward by sliding. It should be able to slide easily without any resistance of frictional force. It also should be easy to build as much as possible because I cant even hold a charged drilling machine properly because its heavy due to battery and starts wobbling when I pull the trigger and I stabbed my hand a few months ago while I was trying to cut a bottle for this project.

Another option is to buy a part already produced by someones as a part of a something. I am looking at the leaflets of furniture companies, home stuff companies but I could not find anything appropriate for the aim.

I will explain it later that why a telescopic arm is needed. I am going to pay $1000 to the poster who gives the best advice and best help.
