Free to push the same cheap product and don't upset the apple cart for the cartels that is.

Companies were once free to do a lot of stupid crap. Chop down all the trees, pollute waterways, dump chemicals, give townsfolk mercury poisoning, hunt out most the whales etc etc.

I am no commie/greeny but part of what a free people do is stop powerful companies when they are doing really stupid crap. Burning resources faster to generate sales is really stupid crap.
