Preppers: Paying Too Much Attention To The Phone

Believe it or not, people use to pay attention to what was going on around them. Another amazing fact, people use to talk to each other. Both of those were phased out in favor of the smart phone.

Regardless of who the person is, or what is happening, we should pay attention to what is going on around us. If there is a lack of attention, sometimes we may miss important observations.

A few days ago I had the opportunity to do a social experiment. There was a road that was barricaded so a crane could be brought to a construction site.

The problem was, I needed to get to the next street down, which was just 100 or so feet away and on the opposite for of the barricaded road. Guarding the road were a couple of rent-a-cops who were playing on their phones.
