So I am looking for a small 22 caliber pistol that I can easily tuck into a bag for small game hunting. Ordinarily, I would carry a rifle, but carrying a rifle is not always the best idea, and I'd like to have -something- that I can just toss in the bag and keep there. I am looking at the Ruger SR22 or the Ruger MkII [the one pin takedown thing is not really a thing I need or desire, and I like the heel release on the MkII], but what sort of other quality options are around?
