Your rifle is enough:

There are threads on here where others seem to be talking out their rear ends, basically saying that riflemen aren't enough to hold off an invading power. Here we will go into reality, and not the fantasy land of the other thread.

I'll give some examples:

1. Revolutionary war
2. Russian invasion of Finland
2. Vietnam
3. Afghanistan (Russian invasion)
4. Somalia (remember Black Hawk down)
5. Afghanistan (US invasion)

We know that in these cases the smaller force were outgunned, and up against a technologically superior enemy but through pure grit and determination were able to turn them completely or at least fight them to a stalemate.
