Tonights game in Mexico city was announced 2 years ago..been doing games there for several years, and other countries to build intrest and revenue.(Its always about the money)..they estimate it created 20 million$ influx to the local economy.
So 3 weeks ago they announced it was being moved to L.A......the official reason was the field was in rough shape from a previous soccer game.
Anyone believe that B.S. line?
24 hours and 100,000$ they could rip out the old turf, level it,and add new sod or astro turf(no mexican landscaper jokes)
Trying to think..security reasons?Political? Some behind the scene wrangling?Money issues.
I've seen games played in Thunder storms, snow storms,100F heat,so a little missing grass 3 weeks before is laughable.
Thoughts?
Chiefs/Rams game moved..why?
