Heater for garage and pole barn?

They are good. I prefer the one that connects to my 20lb tank and is adjustable. It's designed to provide heat (directional), our flip it up, so I can use it as a burner to make coffee.

What's your price range? Also, wouldn't it be easier to insulate and keep your small heater? For the barn, I would consider a larger unit that mounts at the ceiling and blows the air down. You'll see them in most car garages or workshops. but without some kind of insulation, your going to get drafts.

Personally, I would buy a cheap wood burning stove and install it (Craigslist is your friend). Would be much easier to deal with and you can get one pretty cheap if you shop around. You you don't mind the electric bill, you can get a second hand electric oven to do the same thing (and cook you some soup to warm your bones). LOL
