Sheet bend, for joining different sized ropes.
Butterfly knot, for adding a loop in the middle of a line.
Half hitch, basis for tautline, and the double half. Tied with a quick release loop, easy to release.
Truckers hitch. Used to get more leverage and really cinch a rope down on a load, also easy to release.
