SR22: The best pistol for beginners and small framed women?

About 5 years ago or so, I started training people on firearm safety and the basics of shooting. I quickly realized that in order to get the smaller framed folks to stop flinching during their initial sessions, a smaller caliber usually was the key to build confidence and eventually accuracy.

After some research and trial & error, I settled on the Ruger SR22. Firing the 22LR round, the pistol doesn't have the kick of a full sized caliber, yet, has all of the features that is desired of a quality, modern firearm. Below is a video review that I did for the pistol in the event that you're interested.

For those who are having some struggles with training your significant other, daughters, or new shooter that may be effected negatively by a full size gun's recoil, I recommend the SR22. You may actually like it for yourself!
