CCW at LAX

So, I've search all around the interwebz. Checked Calguns, handgunlaw.com/CA, LA airport police site, etc. I still can't get a definitive answer on whether I can legally carry my CCW'd weapon into the baggage claim area to wait for my son to come home from vacation. Most sites are vague on whether you can or can't. Some say outside the "sterile" areas is fine. Others sites say anywhere on airport property is prohibited.

Any of you guys have a definitive answer to this question. I will definitely have it with me on my trip to the airport but don't really want to leave it in my truck at the LAX parking structure. What say you? Thanks.
