My wife has been going along with my survival spending because she likes our rural home life and because of our Florida location being prepared for national disasters makes sense.
As we were leaving our home to go the feed store she,out of the blue asked "if an EMP hit right now, how would we cook?" I assured her that for the short term we could light our lp gas stove manually. She then asked about a wood burning stove that could be set up in an outside kitchen like we have seen in FL cracker historic sites.
This is a big step for her to focus on a long term issue.
