Telegraph Sounder

Okay, you 'lectric guru types, here's a question:

I have a 4 ohm Signal Electric Company telegraph sounder. I know that I should be using about 2 volts DC to run it....what would be the best wire size to use for this? (I plan on using a Morse KOB interface from my computer to the key/sounder set up)...

On a side note, I am having a LOT of fun learning CW....
