Glad I don't live in these states

I believe some of those states will change in the coming years.

West Virginia, for example. The Democrats destroyed that state's economy by blacklisting coal. Hell, they said their goal was to end the coal industry, which supplied most of the jobs in that state either directly or indirectly.

West Virginians are tough and hearty folks, descendants of the Scotch-Irish, and if they can get a job they will take it - they are not like the welfare recipients in CA and NY City who view welfare as a way of life.

If Trump can revive the coal industry like he promises, those WV folks will be back to work and their economy will pick up again.
