Obamacare made clear the failure of socialism

After Obamacare kicked in, my premiums went way up and my deductible skyrocketed up so high it's like I don't even have insurance; it's more like having a coupon. But on the bright side, I'm covered now in case I get pregnant. That doesn't seem likely, but who knows: there might be an alien abduction in my future.

Socialism is seductive, until after it becomes law and you realize that instead of wealth being distributed to you it's distributed from you. This is the moral to the story of Obamacare. Thousands of pages of smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that wealth is being taking from some and given to others, by corrupt political hacks buying votes with stolen money.

I was against Obamacare from the beginning. But many others drank the socialist kool-aid. Now that those have tasted the poison in it, can we maybe roll back socialism beyond just getting rid of Obamacare?

And for the liberal types who want to claim that if there is any tiny bit of a free market remaining no such thing as socialism exists, let's just say for the sake of argument that it really isn't socialism; more accurately, it's socialism-that-shall-not-be-called-socialism, which I guess is somehow different from real socialism. So call it whatever you want, but by any name, let's get rid of it.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
