Wood stove installation advice sought

So renovation time. Any builders or experience folks want to comment on my wood stove going where the guitar pick is? I'm going to remove the 90 degree turn, make the stairs go straight and put a wood stove in there. This room is a vaulted 20' ceiling. I have a marble 39"x39" base, and will tile that back wall where the railing currently is; move the railing over to the other side. Put in a nice metal railing on the side facing the stove.

Going to get rid of the L shaped 90 degree stairs, remove the wall, and extend stairs straight. In that wasted area, the plan is for a wood stove. I'm arraigning for purchase and delivery, but it's going to really exceed the budget.

The pipe will be behind that small rectangle window, just above/behind the front door. Plenty of clearance from the front door to the stove, probably at least 6'.
