What Modifications are Acceptable on YOUR FIghting Pistol

I started this thread just for the sake of conversation. Think of it as a conversation you would have with your fellow gun-nuts at the counter while the clerk processes your 4473.

Like the title says, what modifications would you be willing to make to Your own, personal fighting pistol. Be it a CCW, Home Defense, Duty weapon (if applicable), belt gun for when S hits the F, etc.

To start things off, my personal opinion is that most "defensive" guns come from the factory perfectly functional the way they are, and we probably shouldn't mess with it too much. Sights are an obvious exception, because everyone's eyes are different and they don't mess with the function of the gun.
One other exception I have are factory aftermarket parts that keep the gun within factory specs. For example, I'm getting ready to install a factory D-type hammer spring on my Beretta (waiting on the USPS), which is a factory part, and an approved modification by Beretta that doesn't effect the warranty. I may also purchase a factory steel trigger in the future to replace the polymer trigger that the gun shipped with.

So have at it. What are your thoughts?
