BHO feels that we deserve to be attacked and the terrorists are in the right. Did you hear his speech in Havana? He badmouthed the USA again telling the Cubans that we conquered and enslaved them and that's why their lives are a mess. It's always our fault in his eyes. That's why he never gets upset about the terrorist attacks and does little to prevent them. He's obviously very sympathetic to Muslims. We Christians have to pay for our evil deeds in the crusades and Europeans have to be punished for colonizing and conquering North African (Muslim) countries.
There's no mystery as to why the president didn't get excited about the terror attacks in Belgium. It's for the same reason that he didn't go to France to march in solidarity with the French president after Charlie Hebdo, and the same reason why he immediately returned the bust of Churchill to Great Britain upon entering the White House. He views the Western European countries as colonizers who conquered and enslaved the north Africans. These terror attacks are just well-deserved payback in his mind. In his speech after the attacks he said "We must stand together", but he didn't say who "we" were. Could he have been talking to the terrorists?
beautiful blade by the way.
The top three banks; Chase, Citigroup, and Goldman-Sachs have assets of 3.5 trillion and exposure to 144 trillion in derivatives.
Fourth on that list BAC (my bank) at 27 trillion but I seem to recall that they did have over 40 trillion. If so they have reduced their exposure.
Fifth on the list is Wells Fargo at 7 trillion and of the big banks seems in the best shape to survive.
It seems that many of these derivatives are interest sensitive and probably one reason the FED hasn't raised interest rates fearing they might bring it all crashing down. And that might be a reason for EU negative interest rates.
I can't see how the top three have any hope of survival in a severe downturn. BAC doesn't look much better but they seem to be trending in the right direction. Wells Fargo seems best positioned to survive but is that relatively speaking?
I have direct deposits and pay bills through online banking at BAC so changing will be a PITA but worth it if Wells Fargo survives and BAC doesn't. But maybe not if Wells Fargo is the last to fall.
Here is the link to the office of the comptroller of the currency and the banks are listed at the very bottom:
So I am just wondering do I stay with BAC, switch to WF or a regional bank? I am not in a position to make any statement just looking for the safest bank to do business with.

i believe it will help to demystify some of the misconceptions that people on these boards (especially diehard GOP conservatives) have about the libertarian party/philosophy....
for those of you that are interested, jason is a former force recon marine with time in both iraq and a-stan, now a small business owner, and all around well spoken.... i highly recommend, and will post what i find are the best episodes he has produced below:

About three days ago I realized I felt more sad than angry about the elections and the condition of our country. Know how it happened? I mean how I got sad. It happened when the republicans and media started talking more and more about ways to prevent Trump. Whether Trump is my candidate or not doesn't seem to matter as far as my sadness goes. It saddens me that my vote doesn't matter. It saddens me that those in power can do whatever they please. It frightens me that after all the deceptions and trickery that they will get far worse when back in office because they got away with it again. I don't know what I am trying to say. I guess I feel helpless this morning. Maybe I just want to know if others feel suddenly quite sad. |
Remember... The only person that represents your interests is you!
EDIT: Yes, I've always felt sad when it came to politics.
But we, the PEOPLE, always have the option to change the system... One slug at a time.
Possessing full auto componenets + a receiver = constructive intent or constructive possession.
Even without the full auto sear hole in the receiver, the ATF/DOJ can claim you intended to make an unregistered machinegun.
Unless you are a FFL07/02, dont even mess around with it.
If you want a full auto AK look into a pre-86 Transferable Valmet 76 or 78. They are well built and the cheapest AK platform transferables usually around. About 15k, but worth it because you could take it to the range and enjoy it.
15k and 6 mos wait with some paperwork is a lot less then 50k on a lawyer and a possible 10 year prison+250k fine, just to have some parts you dont actually use.
I know its tempting but its not worth it. Also since May 1986, Civilians cannot register new machineguns, so there is no legal way to register it, unless you get your FFL07/02, which is not for collecting, you have to build and sell as a business.
The only way for a US Civilian to own full auto is to buy one of the 200,000 machineguns that were registered prior to the enactment of the 1986 FOPA.
Here are some legal ones you can buy:
Wild flowers are starting to sprout, and grass needs cut already. Most likely , I will go into town , to get more peat moss, weed killer, & shotgun shells.
Maybe I'll get done before it rains. Will talk to you guys later.

The wife asked about what gear and why. After much discussion the husband agreed with pretty much everything I had brought up as possible scenarios and the gear I had prepped for such events.
Months later, I come to find out that they have begun prepping and they continue to ask about the finer details about different categories.
It was a surprisingly easy conversation piece that benefitted a small family unit.
Anyone else have similar stories?
"The seals," means that there is more than one seal.
"The seal's ball," means that one seal owns a ball.
"The seals' ball," means that more than one seal owns the ball.
It ain't rocket surgery.
I personally carry:
x2 4x4 12 ply gauze pads
x1 2x2 8 ply gauze pad
x3 standard sized band aids
I carry these things in a cargo pocket in a small folding note pad thing, like you would see a detective write notes in.
Most people, when they talk about their EDC, talk about their gun, knife, multi-tool, flashlight, key chain, and 12 use credit card knife thing, among others. But I have never heard anyone say anything about first aid! I end up using one of the band aids about once every 2 or 3 months, and I have never had to use one of the gauze pads, but I always feel better knowing that I have that capability.
What do you edc first aid wise?
What small lightweight first aid items could I start carrying?
How do you carry your first aid items?
After two weeks without a job I thought "what the heck". and started a youtube channel for the new preppers / survivalist / backwoods guys and gals. I will not sell anything to you. But I will have great videos on recipes how to's and free giveaways.
Why am I doing this?
Why not. I am getting older and crazier so this is the next step for me.
Visit me on you tube search for "prairie sasquatch" and I hope to see you soon.
P.S. will promote this site on there.
To any Admin. If I have broken any rules doing this please accept my apologies and remove this post.

Im building myself a 20" Ar15 and am curious about the weight of the buffer. I have a rockriver collapsible stock so im not sure an m16 style buffer will work. All inputs are greatly appreciated, unless youre voting for Hillary Clinton.
When I get the flu, I welcome the fever because that's my body's immune system kicking into full gear and using heat to destroy the invader. I drink lots of liquids and orange juice, eat some food for calories to turn into heat, take colloidal silver, jump into bed to sleep and also help my fever cook the little buggers out of my body. Once the fevers break, then the fight starts to keep it from becoming a respiratory infection.
I always win. Eventually.
pistol: 1911, or CZ75
shotgun: older ithaca 37 with steel frame and slam-fire
medium range rifle: AKM, but id consider "improved" AKs like the valmet or sig 556R
long range: MSG90
But on the other being alone in the wilderness may not be all it's thought. Yes you have to do all the work of gathering enough food and water. As well as building a shelter and security. However, in the event of an accident, and let's be honest we all have them from time to time. Some may be very minor while other accidents can be debilitating. As for myself, 12 rib fractures on the left side along with a partially collapsed lung left me unable to do much of anything for myself for several days. There would not have been any gathering food and water. No building a shelter. And certainly would not be pulling any security patrols. Going from self dependent to needing help from someone else for every thing in an instant will teach you the value of having a group at your back.
For the time being, I'm disqualifying pump actions, to reduce the prospect of short-stroking. Want a system they can become familiar with for bird hunting, but have alternates with the same manual of arms for home defense with slug barrels or shorter, unchoked barrels.
What would you recommend?
So, you're a gear-centric prepper...you have state of the art military-grade weaponry, ammunition, and plenty of both. You felt a need for level IIIA body armor and that kevlar cover, and now you have it. You bought the knife Delta force is supposed to use. You've stockpiled enough ammunition to win a war in Bolivia. You have enough weaponry, armor and gear to arm SEAL team 6. So, what do you plan on doing with it when everything falls apart?
I hope that by reading this, you are a responsible person. I hope that with your arsenal, you have also stockpiled common sense, and a moral integrity to use it for good when the day comes that the dark matter hits the fan, and those lines between good and evil suddenly become blurred. Because now, you have taken it upon yourself to be a sheepdog of the highest caliber.
When the cities lie in ruins, and bands of murderous land pirates roam the country, raping and killing, pillaging food and supplies from those without the ability to resist them, I pray that you have the moral integrity to be a guardian against the wolves. May your Interceptor vest stop only the rounds fired by the evil hordes, and never bullets fired by a scared mother as you raid what little food she has to feed her children. I hope the crosshairs of your expensive sniper rifle are only doped to drop the wicked, and never the ones who are trying to cling to humanity and civility.
Train, my friend. You already have the equipment, now train with it. Put up or shut up. Train every day. Expend thousands of rounds in practice. Spend every penny you can on training. Take up rappelling. Learn knife fighting. Every facet of your life now must be built around being good enough to WEAR that gear. You must make yourself DESERVING of such power. Learn your weapons until you can disassemble them in your sleep, underwater with the lights out. Play airsoft or paintball on weekends, just for fun. Study the books. Run the woods in full gear until you ******* puke.
I hope you will hear my words. If you are a mall ninja, an operator wannabe, sell your guns now. If your "training" amounts to a few rounds a year and Call of Duty, give up and stop playing soldier. Forget all notions of being Rambo, of being Mad Max. When you have to don YOUR gear and weapons, it will be to live the live of a rogue. To kill for food, and to become a monster just to survive another day. Change your mindset now or give up trying to prepare for what's coming. When the end comes, just cower behind your bed and wait for the inevitable. It will be better that way.
When the lights go dark, the phones stop working and the shelves are bare, we must rely only on ourselves and each other to survive. In that world, everyone will have a role. The farmers will farm, the blacksmiths and craftsmen will build, and the merchant will sell. Someone has to be there to protect them, because the marauders will raid, the weak will die, and one way or another, you will have a role in that. Pick your side. The world will need police. The world will need sheep dogs. You have the gear my friend, and you talk the talk. Will you walk the walk?

I have a 50 yard zero on my M&P15 Sport.
Using 5.56 55gn XM195 Boat-Tail ammo
To hit a target at 200 yards
According to the SpotOn App it says "set sights to shoot -2.04 inches low at 200 yards for a 50 yard zero"
Does that mean that i need to go down 1MOA (2" at 200 yards") which means 4 clicks? (1/4MOA scope)
Using the same info, to hit a target at 100 yards it says "set sights to shoot 0.50 inches high at 100 yards for a 50 yard zero"
Does that mean i need to go down 1/2 MOA (0.5" at 100 yards) which means 2 clicks? (1/4MOA scope)

SO, Welcome to the NEW AMERIKA !!! COMRADES!
To me that boils down to keep your stuff off my stuff - and then I don't have to kill you.
Your beliefs your idealism - they aren't mine. As long as they don't impact me or mine I can tolerate them.
When you start putting your stuff on my stuff - I take umbrage.
I'm a pretty much live and let live guy. Leave me alone & you won't cross the crosshairs. Violate that and tolerance doesn't just go to zero. Now you've gone negative. And I'll compensate for windage.
Why do people try to impose their beliefs on others- sometimes by force? Of law or arms - it's the same.
You want me to tolerate you? How bout being a good neighbor. How bout being a decent human being. How bout you keep your **** off my ****.
How bout you leave me the **** alone?
Tolerance my ass.
The most intolerant are the ones whinining for it the loudest.
I call them bait.
Remember it's a choice. My choice. To be TOLERANT. It's not an obligation anyone else can impose.
My CHOICE.
For the folks over 50 on this forum, what was it about preparing that you learned growing up and still do today? I'm a new father, and want to instill being preparing in my child, and am curious on the ways that you learned from your parents (who were more apt to be prepared, and pass it down). What can the younger folks on this forum do to help bring back emergency preparation?
Also, why don't people prepare today? I'm in my 30's, when I talk to my friends about preparing, no one is doing it...when I ask why, they get defensive so I don't push the issue.
Anyone have good grits, hominy, masa, posole recipes that you'd like to share. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone buys the the whole Posole and grinds it to make Masa flour and having done this what would i have to add to the flour to make tortillas?
thanks in advance and i look forward to seeing some recipes!
I'm in FLA Zone 9A. Basically, I've been planting the lentils in a new piece of soil/garden I'm improving.
And have been using the lentils as green manure since I can't seem to get anything to pod.
They have itsy bitsy flowers. Yet to find a pod. Don't know if they aren't fertilizing. Or because the soil isn't up to par don't have the oommp to make seeds.
Planted between Thanksgiving and Christmas in this new area. Presently am dumping cow manure on what the rabbits/deer haven't eating -- which actually is quite a bit left -- and will run the mulching mower over the rows.
[Oh, last year I waited till the last frost. No difference with this year.]
I have learned I can individually plant the lentil seeds and they come up. Or I can toss the seeds down, dump cow manure over them, mulch and they will come up. Or just fling the lentils any old place [and I mean, I have tested to see if it might be the soil area I am working on -- but there isn't any difference between the garden area growth and random here and there growth].
I can even plant them in the summer if they aren't in the full sun all day.
Anyway, no lentil seeds to harvest.
Am I too far south?
Oh, and squirrels like the just tossed out lentil seeds, but don't get them all. Some crows came by and tried some and weren't impressed enough to come back.
I am using lentils store bought at Publix.
Also just out of curiosity how long do you think it would store?
I'm in my late 50's,active,work construction,weigh 150.
Not to sound like Al Bundy, but haven't formally "worked out" since my H.S. football days.
3 weeks ago broke my leg/ankle/heel-been on crutches since, and maybe another 2 months.
For every step,my good leg supports 2X the weight, from 75 now to 150#
The next step,my wrists/shoulder (elbows locked)support 150#(75 each)
So for every aprox. 35 steps,I'm supporting(pressure?) an extra ton that joints/muscles are not used to.
Just curious if this is the same as a good work-out or lifting?
The broken leg ca,'t bear any weight and has an extra 5# of cast on it,so I guess the thigh/hip is getting a work-out by having to keep it raised.
Now wonder I'm tired and my body is out of wack.
I try not to over do it,stay off it like the Dr. said...but there is no real guideline for over doing it..I listen to my body, but by the time I get tired/sore/hurting..I've probabley overdone it.
So,is there a comparison of 1 leg supporting an extra 75#,versus dead lifting 75# all day..guessing the muscles work in different ways
Its hard to say what information the guard passed to the terrorists or if they have his security badge to obtain access to other nuclear power plants, but it is a present danger that shouldn't be ignored by any nation. The demented cult of radical muslims are out to destroy as much life as they can.
If the Belgian nuclear power plant had a meltdown, it would contaminate Europe, Russia and the Northern Hemisphere.
Time to send the sand people back to their sand box, because many of us saw this coming when Europe started letting in all those immigrants.
Just imagine how many hillary or bernie would bring into the USA.
Governor Herbert has opposed common sense carry bills consistently throughout his career as governor. Even for those of us who are in the same party, the guy is awful.
Jonathan E. Johnson is running against for Republican nomination. Johnson has pledged his support of the 2a, is for constitutional carry, and it's an appropriate replacement for our corrupt incumbent.

I have stripped all the lube off & am going to store it in my vehicle dry. Is there any concerns I should have having it completely unlubed? It does not get out for target practice & is basically there solely for protection. Thanks
I've never been loyal to any political party, I've been registered Democrat, constitutionalist, libertarian, Republican, this circus of a primary season has driven me back to the libertarian party.
While the GOP has made penis size a valid issue concerning who will run the executive branch.
In LP ads John McAfee is calling Austin Peterson(his competition) the future of liberty.
I just can't stomach the idea of voting for Trump, or Clinton. In the past, when I have voted for a D or R candidate, it was a compromise. I hate the right's global domination- foreign policy, I hate the left's constant threat of gun control. Obama adopted the bomb everyone foreign policy, and many Republicans are in favor of stricter gun control measures. It seems that they are two wings of the same war waging, liberty hating, debt loving bird. There are few Washington politicians that I do respect, Rand Paul, Justin Amash, Thomas Massie, maybe add Mike Lee, and some of the real fiscal conservatives.
Anyhow, my hesitancy to vote for either likely nominee is not unique to me at all, people in the Democratic party feel increasingly unrepresented. Many republicans are absolutely refusing to vote for a trump nominee.
The libertarian party platform, has always been the same. The federal government is controlling entirely too much, it has assumed authority that the constitution doesn't grant it. Therefore per the tenth amendment the states, and local communities should if necessary have that authority.
