forbidden access?

Every once in awhile, I'll try to access an interesting post, only to be flagged that I'm locked out of that thread.

None of the restrictions seem to apply to me, so I'm kinda mystified.....

Is it because I need a VIP membership? I'd be happy to pay for those privileges, if that is the issue.
