Are you willing to accept liberal preppers?

I have to admit that I have been very disappointed with my fellow conservative preppers. Some have seemed to forget they are Americans and now only see themselves as conservatives. This I expected from angry liberals, but not from happy conservatives. There are responsibilities to being the winner and one of them is to lead well.

Having said that; I teach simple living skills, soap making, butchering, archery, weaving, hide tanning, etc. I've noticed a few new faces at my classes and I am being hired for private group teaching. During a conversation at my deer butchering class I was told that some of these people were not Trump fans and are now preparing for the market bubble and crash that they claim always follows Republican leadership. They do not want to get caught behind the eightball this time around.

Now, agree or disagree with their reasons, these people are prepping for a dark future the best they can. I am trying to get over the politics of these times and support all my fellow preppers. I try to do what my mother once taught me and not talk about religion or politics and just teach the classes. Can anyone else do the same thing? Can we attempt to become Americans again, take the high road we want to think we always walk, and begin to support all people who are trying to keep themselves and their families safe? I'm hoping so. I think we can make our mothers proud.
