M47 medusa any owners?

Came across a unique pistol today that really struck my fancy. The m47 medusa a multi caliber revolver originally made in Texas. Been doing little Google sluthing on it and I'm intrigued.

25+calibers in same cylinder seems to good be true and you know what they say about that. So any thoughts , first hand knowledge? Was it ahead of its time, poor marketing or failure?

I'm thinking of a new winter project and thought it would make a nice and interesting bbq gun after some fancying up.
