Electrical Question--Light Bulbs

Could someone please tell me why a 15W equivalent appliance LED E12 bulb that uses 1W won't light up in a socket that works with 4W equivalent LED night light C7 bulb that uses .6 W, and 4W and 7W incandescent night light C7 bulbs?

I've tried two different sockets. They work with all the above bulbs except the appliance bulb. The appliance bulb is new out of the package and visually looks OK/intact. The bases on all of the bulbs are the same size and they all have the little metal spot in the middle of the bottom of the base. C7 and E12 bases are supposed to be the same.
