Nov 4 simulation to expose gaps in your preps

Sitting at work with some time to let my mind wander and I started to think about Nov 4th (Antifa & DOD exercise) and what I need to do to be ready if these things go hot. I am running a simulation in my head to see where I am lacking.

Antifa:

I am in a city where Antifa will be gathering to do their dirty deeds. I live about 30 miles from the city in a very small suburb but do work in the city. If they are able to muster enough support and cause city wide havoc, I can work from the bunker (home). So what would you need to do to be ready in case you are caught away from home in this madness?

Here is what I am doing:
- Don't let your fuel tank below 1/2 full.
- To add to my G19 I already carry I am adding AR15 pistol in 300BLK in my vehicle with 3 mags.
- I am carrying bear spray, will shoot up to 30' in case I need to clear a path through a blocked road.
- Have Arms, food and water stocked up at the bunker
- Educate family friends on Antifa and areas to avoid.

DOD Exercise:

I am simulating a power loss (EMP) in the US during the duration of the DOD exercise Nov 4-6. During the simulation I hope to get into the mindset that if this really did happen what would I have missed in my preps. If an EMP, my biggest challenge is getting my family (8 adults and 5 kiddos) to our bug out location about 250 miles away. Doing a Google Earth search on duration if walking it is 90 hours. We have bikes and garden wagons to carry supplies as well as each member has a backpack. We would only be able to travel as fast as the slowest person. A good day would be 20 miles of travel provided nothing goes wrong (Murphy's Law). We train with firearms and tactics. We are hunters so we should be able to harvest game on the way as well as water. I figure we could be on the road by day 2 after the event. Family members would need the first day to get to the staging area to get ready to leave, we bug out on day 2 if all goes well. We will travel dirt roads/trails most of the way. We will have a scout out in front and rear of main group. We have several suppressed firearms to take game with little noise and if needed dispatch marauders. Weather/Climate would be a huge challenge this time of year in higher elevation at night, so to stay warm we would travel at night and sleep in the day.

Staying put would not be an option for us in an EMP as it would not take long for people to get desperate.
