My neighbor was a prepper. I say "was" because...

... as I was leaving for work this morning I saw a huge stack of boxes put out at the curb for trash and inside were cans and cans and cans of LTS food. Pinto beans, white rice, sliced apples, cornmeal, TVP ham and chicken, dried eggs, dried milk, spinach flakes, tomato powder, and probably some other stuff. I put it all in my car. We have had pouring rain so the boxes were soaked, but when I get it all home I'll make sure everything is rust free and store it again.



I couldn't believe it. I thought maybe I was still asleep and this was a dream. :)



Funny thing is, I dropped my car at the shop on the way to work and told them that they might wonder about what's stuffed in the trunk and backseat - may think I'm one of those crazy apocalypse chicks who drives around with food in her car. :)
