Pantry Moths

Here is the situation; I converted a bedroom into a deep pantry.

I have many cases of purchased FD/dehydrated and #10cans, as well as some foods I have done myself in mylar and buckets over the years. These I am not worried about infestation, but what about the cardboard containers the foods are boxed in, can pantry moths be in the cardboard? I would prefer not to move these as they are packed tight and deep, is there something I can spray or treat with so as not to have to go through and move it all. My other worry is that this spreads to my kitchen pantry, if it hasn’t already, its next on the go through list.

My short term pantry is what is at issue here in the bedroom, some factory packaging is lose perforated and I have even found infestation in an unopened sealed Quaker Oats containers so I figure most of this is suspect. I have been going through, trashing bagging and freezing as I can. I know I will eventually get this cleared up, and plan on getting more sealed containers in the near future.

What I am looking for is, does anyone have proven repellants, poisons, etc. that I can use to keep this from happening again. I just added a UV bugzapper to the room and there were 12 little bodies the first night.

Thanks
