Hi Everyone.
I was raised in the liberal northeast. By the time I was a teenager, I 'knew' anyone from down south or anyone that owned a gun was crazy or a criminal. or dumb. I remember thinking though, that looking at my high school history books, civilization had its up and downs and wouldn't be smart to be someone one could survive the downs....
Well many years later and living happily with my head in the sand, I am faced with a world that for the first time in my life, I think things could fall apart - at least for some period of time. Heck, a boil water order near the city of Boston not too long ago had people fighting in the stores.
With all that said, I am happy to be here to learn and prepare for threats that may become realities. I'm starting from square one so this might take a while but thank you in advance for your time and for sharing of your collective knowledge.
I'll see you 'round the boards.
