Liberal dilemma: Gay marriage vs sanctuary cities

So the Feds have jailed the Kentucky court clerk who has refused to issue marriage licenses in opposition to the SCOTUS ruling:

But this brings up a question.

So-called sanctuary cities in my state have determined they will not enforce immigration laws against illegal aliens.

Shouldn't the Feds be jailing police chiefs?

The court clerk is citing religious beliefs as supported by the 1st Amendment in not complying with the court ruling. I personally don't think she has a leg to stand on, but she certainly has a better defense than those leftists in sanctuary cities who are simply acting on political beliefs.

Of course, we'll never see this addressed on any mainstream media outlets...
