I love wood heat.

It's slow. (Turned the propane on at first, stove has got nice and hot so I shut it off)

And there's just.... something about wood heat that I enjoy.
Makes my bones feel better.

Can leave the tea kettle off, or on.
I have it set up so that I can wheelbarrow wood into the room next to the wood stove. Ashes are really not that big a deal. (If they are I can just turn up the gas. Like when I was sick.)

I've always liked a fireplace, don't see doing without a wood stove ever again. (2 years on this one, not my first experience.)
