cascading meds

Sort of along the conspiracy theory side of things, but I noticed the old folk get onto meds and next they need all sorts of meds for other things going wrong....

Of course maybe it is natural ageing and degenerating of the body.

But it did make me think that if a pharmaceutical company was developing these drugs, and one trial 'happened' to show some dependance on the drug becoming apparent, or that it caused some other problems( requiring more drugs) ... maybe it would still get a green light for production.

yes I have my tin foil hat on but on the other hand big pharma is as big as they come, bigger than any government.
