Danger Of Logical Fallacies

We can make a better world, by trying to avoid thinking errors.

Political and ethical discusions can be of great value. They can contribute to a stable democracy and mutual understanding. And they can help in finding solutions for persistent societal problems, like natural disasters, homelessness, disease, depression, crime, and war.

To benefit more from these discussions, one could use the international playing-rules of discussion. They are called "logical fallacies", and need to be avoided, to have a succesful discussion. Logical fallacies are errors in logic, that can cause failure, poverty, suffering, hatred and violence. Knowledge of logical fallacies can also be used to recognise misleading rethoric.

I’m interested in how logical thinking can help us understand society, cut through fake news, and reveal the hidden connections, patterns and stories underneath. Neat thinking can help to make clearer, more effective and more informed decisions about the world.
