The Ideal Sword!

So what IS the ideal sword for survival? Surely anyone paying attention by now knows a sword is a crucial part of any survival package, but WHAT sword?

I happen to like the Katana, yet is that the BEST sword? The 1917 pattern cutlass by Cold Steel makes a lot of sense...it has the right blade length, plus easy carry.

What do others think?

I have read where others think laying in more ammo is the answer, yet one can only carry so many bullets before it's time to draw edged weapons and start working.....
