I live in a wooded area in N Central Mass. I started prepping for at least short term disasters after an ice storm in 2008 knocked out power during the winter for 13 days. Now I hunt and trap in addition to fishing, enjoy building primitive shelters, beds, traps and went on a five day primitive survival training trip with my son who is now an herbalist and wilderness medicine specialist.
