Getting scratches out of blued gun receiver....

The Birchwood Casey stuff works pretty well. They sell a kit for bluing, that I recommend for anything larger than touchup. The bluing that comes with the kit is a lighter blue. The Siper Blue gives you that dark blackish blue that most want. I recently did some rebluing on a milsurp rifle using he Super Blue and it came out looking nice. The secret to sucess is the surface must me super clean and shiney..

They also make a touchup pen for touchup that works fairly well. It's for the small stuff though..
