1. Needs to be cheap. anything over $300 would be out of the price range
2.Needs to be on CA DOJ approved handgun roster. this is aimed at urban areas and CA has the highest bar
3.Its advantage is not neutered by 10 round mags.
4. external safety.
5. Must be concealable.
6. Must be reliable
This pretty much leaves me the Hi-Point, which is good because its commonly available,and takes common ammo. Now I've shot a few rounds out of one in 9 at a range before and didnt care for the trigger or the ergonomics but it shot. Now i know hi-points are kind of a hot topic but FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE OWNED ONE, what was your experience. Again, I ONLY WANT INPUT FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE OWNED ONE.
