Cause if you're talking things that are all chopped sliced and cooked to a soft consistency then it's about the same weight as just plain water for whatever volume.
Whole veggies or fruits will take up less space per volume obviously.
The ball book usually gives a yield for each recipe , I believe.
If this is for planting you'll have to overplant. I can say that something always happens and you may lose some plants. Or they don't yield as much.
