How much ammo is too much?

So..... I don't know if I'm being unreasonable here. Maybe I'm just part of the problem.

But I've been buying a lot of ammo. I'm grabbing it as soon as it becomes available because I'm afraid I soon won't be able to get any at all.

Especially in the past couple of weeks ammo availability has gotten worse. Today I spent like $400 on 22LR, various 12ga loads, and 30-06. Is that unreasonable? I mean prices on... Everything has at least doubled if not more, and that's if you can even get it at all. I am just trying to get stocked before the stuff isn't available at all and just hope that Biden doesn't get elected though that is a real possibility.

What do you guys think? Is there no such think as prepping too much or am I going overboard?
