What tablet to get? Ipad?

I usually avoid Apple. iPads are easy to use, but Apple locks so much down that you find that it does what it wants whenever it wants.

Since you have a Kindle Fire, Android will be more familiar to you. All depends on budget though.

Thsi one is not a slouch, but not the newest. Priced good though.
