FBI Study of Active Shooter Incidents 2000-2013

I did a search but didn't see any threads discussing this. It has some rather interesting data as it studied only active shooter situations. Stats such as 2/3 of the incidents ended before police arrived and the fact that they printed "Recognizing the increased active shooter threat and the swiftness with which active shooter incidents unfold, these study results support the importance of training and exercises—not only for law enforcement but also for citizens" (page 21).
Note that the report is 47 pages but the first 21 are the report findings. The remaining pages are the details about each incident.
The count for this specific type of incident accounted for 1043 dead and wounded...while this number is still unacceptable, it is much lower than what the anti 2A people would want you to believe when they lump all gun deaths together including suicides/gang related shootings, etc., and categorize them all as violent gun deaths.
Just some food for thought.....
