Body Armor questions

Hey everyone.

I've been toying with the idea of setting up a plate carrier and I'd like some feedback.

I think it's a good time to buy armor for several reasons, both to prevent bullet holes and maybe because it won't be available in the future. Might appreciate in value who knows.

So I'm 5-11, 230 lbs pretty broad shoulders. I've been looking at AR500 plates in level 4 (ceramic I'm guessing) with a side plate (lvl 3) setup.

As far as the carrier itself I'm not sure what to look for. Any recommendations? What might fit my frame, hold up well, not be a hunk of crap. $70 for a condor seems kinda cheap. Anyway any insight would be awesome.
