Asia is more self defense friendly than USA at the moment

It is legal to carry knives upto 9 inch long in India. And Indian Sikh's can legally carry huge daggers by law according to their religion laws.
Its legal to carry brass knuckle also and all sorts of pepper sprays and mace.
in NYC you can be arrested for a swiss army knife
In Singapore you can carry knives upto 4 inch long and rifle range is available to tourists.
In California, its over a year of waiting time to get a legal firearm or many 'courses' required to attend a rifle range.
In China you can carry knife with blade upto 8.6 inches.
You can also pretty much carry mace freely in all these countries.
Most people hire personal bodyguards with registered weapons because its much cheaper than cost of ownership of weapons in United States.

As i have travelled overseas a lot, i have myself found that gun ownership is actually becoming easier outside US.

I wonder what the political agenda is here?
