Wife recently purchased a few jars of Del Monte premium fruit & some Classico pasta sauce in Mason like glass jars, with ONE PIECE canning lids on them.
Appears after a 1st use, could be reused (if not rusted) with the addition of a gasket ring.
(I just happen to have 1K + canning jar gaskets)
Shopping around a little, found these:
1K @ 0.22 cents each - without adding shipping costs.
Has anybody used them for hot water bath and/or pressure canning?
Pro's, Con's, comments welcome.
Certainly, shipping cost would be significant, but I know a jobber locally who could order them & I could drive to, to pick up.
